Hidden treasures by

When I was little, I loved to play in the garden creating little hidden treasures and hiding them in the dirt. We would use little pieces of broken glass, layering them with some colourful shiny objects (a chocolate wrapper) at the inner side of the glass and bury those in soil all over the garden. Then we would look for the hidden pieces and carefully wash away the topsoil layer, exposing shiny glass with hidden objects inside.

I always had a thrill while playing that game and I would always remember those memories many years later. It felt magical – to create a little glass window in the dirt with something shiny and precious hidden inside…
